The Via dei Cavalleggeri, which leads from Salivoli to the Gulf of Baratti along the Tuscan coast, is a path steeped in history and natural beauty. This ancient path, originally guarded by cavalry to protect the area from pirate attacks, passes through lush Mediterranean scrub and offers breathtaking views of ancient watchtowers and archaeological remains that tell the story of ancient peoples, from the Etruscans to the Romans.

Starting from Salivoli, you can admire the spectacular Big Bench, a giant bench that invites you to rediscover the landscape like children. Continuing along the path, you reach the suggestive Cava beach, accessible via an adventurous descent between the rocks and characterized by a desert island atmosphere.
