Quercetano Bay comes into view as you descend a small flight of steps near Castiglioncello’s main square, with its shops, bars and restaurants.

The sea is crystal-clear, with rocky outcrops alternating with fine sand. Out of season, you can enjoy the beach in all its beauty, whilst in summer you should expect it to be quite crowded. There are beach establishments and restaurants right by the sea, as well as parasol hire and bars. 

The bay is surrounded by green hills and the Castiglioncello pine forest, making it an ideal spot for lovers of nature and tranquillity. It is an ideal destination for families, thanks to a small pine forest featuring a children’s play area, but also for sports enthusiasts, who can enjoy windsurfing, kitesurfing or other water sports.

Castiglioncello is a small seaside village offering a typically Tuscan atmosphere, with cobbled streets and colourful houses overlooking the sea. Castiglioncello is famous for its nightlife and the numerous bars, clubs and discos that bring the summer evenings to life.

Baia del Quercetano and Castiglioncello are easily accessible by car or train, thanks to their proximity to Rosignano Marittimo railway station.
