Experiences
A stroll through the vineyards at sunset, the scent of freshly baked bread mingling with the salty sea breeze, a glass of wine shared amongst friends.
This page was created out of a desire to share stories. To share stories of this part of Tuscany that remains off the beaten track of mass tourism and, for that very reason, is still vibrant and authentic.
I’ll tell you about places to discover, stories to listen to, flavours to savour. About the sea, which is the undisputed star of the show; about the village festivals that warm the heart; about those moments when simplicity turns into happiness.
This is my invitation to slow down.
With a cup of tea in hand and an open heart, I’ll take you with me through the pages of this Tuscan diary.
Welcome to my Casa nel Castello.

The Villages
The villages represent an immense historical, artistic and cultural heritage. Every community and every village has its own history, culinary traditions, and religious and secular festivals. The villages of Tuscany are like an open-air museum and await you with their beauty, their shops and their trattorias, which will welcome you as if you were part of the family.
The Beaches
The Etruscan Coast is famous for its variety of colours and its wild, unspoilt beaches, where rocky outcrops alternate with public beaches. Depending on your preferences and even which way the wind is blowing, you can explore different beaches every day and discover hidden corners, sand dunes, pebbles or rocky outcrops.
If, on the other hand, you prefer a bit of comfort, you can choose from a range of beach clubs with parasols, bars and restaurants right on the beach, so you have everything in one place.
