Soso - Circular Studio

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Sofia Caponi is a young creative who started her dream in the historic center of Suvereto. After studying at Polimoda in Florence and working for major fashion companies, she returned to her city and opened a creative studio focused on her great passion: sustainable fashion. The mantra she holds dear and on which her creative lab is founded is precisely this: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

This innovative space embraces the circular economy, transforming deadstock materials and second-hand clothing through the upcycling process, giving them new life and value.

A Laboratory of Creativity and Sustainability

The laboratory, though still young, is already fully equipped and offers a wide range of services, from clothing repair to complete restyling, as well as the possibility to purchase upcycled pieces and local craft accessories. Here, every garment tells a story of rebirth, promoting a more sustainable and conscious consumption model.

Collaboration with Menabòh

Recently, Sofia joined the team of Menabòh, a new start-up that serves as a platform for experienced upcycling designers. This collaboration aims to promote a more responsible attitude towards fashion purchasing, encouraging new generations (and beyond) to consider the option of modifying and reinventing items in their wardrobe instead of opting for fast fashion. The goal is to push towards more sustainable and environmentally friendly habits.

The Story of Sofia Caponi

Born in the Tuscan hills in 1996 and raised a stone's throw from the sea, Sofia showed a strong creative inclination from an early age, expressing herself through her first paintings on house walls and styling dolls. This passion for fashion led her to study as a fashion designer at the Polimoda Fashion Institute in Florence in 2015.

After graduating, she worked as an assistant for a Beachwear and Leisurewear designer at the Venetian company "Diesel," where she was able to deepen her knowledge of fabrics and improve her graphic skills. This experience allowed her to understand the importance of expressing a message through clothing, making her fall even more in love with the creative process behind each collection.

The Birth of SOSO – Circular Studio

Driven by her passion for art and sustainability, Sofia recently realized her dream, founding "SOSO – Circular Studio." Here, the circular economy becomes the engine of creativity, transforming waste materials into unique and sustainable garments. The "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" collection is an invitation to reconsider our way of consuming, opposing the vortex of consumerism.

Sofia Caponi, with her innovative vision and commitment to sustainability, demonstrates that it is possible to combine fashion and respect for the environment. "SOSO – Circular Studio" is much more than a simple laboratory: it is a manifesto of creativity, a place where every garment tells a story of rebirth and hope for a more sustainable future.
