Suber Wine Festival, Suvereto

Wine, appellation and territory at the Suvereto Wine Festival

The SuberWine Festival (SUBER – Suvereto Wine Festival) takes place every year in the historic centre of Suvereto and kicks off the village’s events season with a programme that gets more interesting every year: it is not just an event dedicated to wine, but a way to connect with the local area through its wineries and beyond.

The 2026 edition, scheduled for 1–3 May, is not solely about wine tasting. Wine is the starting point, but the festival also explores the landscape, agricultural work, local identity and evolution. The 2026 edition, in particular, focuses on the new direction of the Suvereto DOCG, explored through a dedicated masterclass that delves into the changes to the production regulations and the profile of the region’s wines.

With its masterclasses and tastings, the Suber Wine Festival in Suvereto is increasingly establishing itself as an opportunity for reflection and learning about wine and the local area, accompanied by a series of initiatives that allow visitors to discover the many facets that make up the region. The festival’s format – and what makes it unique and interesting – is not confined to Suvereto’s historic centre but unfolds through a series of parallel initiatives that invite visitors to explore. Artisans, wineries, wine shops and restaurants have created unique activities designed for the weekend.

Alongside tastings, the programme includes talks, discussions between producers, activities centred on local cuisine and collaborations with artisans. The result is an event that brings together the production chain and the local context, without separating them.
