Wine, appellation and territory at the Suvereto wine festival
The SuberWine Festival (SUBER – Suvereto Wine Festival) takes place every year in the historic center of Suvereto and inaugurates the village's event season with an increasingly interesting program: not just an event dedicated to wine, but a way to get in touch with the territory through its wineries and beyond.
The 2026 edition, scheduled from May 1st to 3rd, is not just about tasting. Wine is the starting point, but the festival also talks about landscape, agricultural work, local identity, and evolution. The 2026 edition, in particular, focuses on the new course of the Suvereto DOCG, also explored through a dedicated masterclass that delves into the changes in the regulations and the profile of the local wines.
Between masterclasses and tastings, the Suber Wine Festival in Suvereto is increasingly establishing itself as a moment of reflection and knowledge of wine and the territory, and is accompanied by a series of initiatives that allow visitors to discover the many facets that make up the territory. The festival's format, and what makes it unique and interesting, does not remain confined to the historic center of Suvereto but develops into a series of parallel initiatives that invite exploration. Artisans, wineries, wine bars, and restaurants have created unique activities designed for the weekend.
Alongside tastings, the program includes talks, discussions between producers, activities related to local cuisine, and collaborations with artisans. The result is an event that brings together the production chain and the territorial context, without separating them.

E(NO)BIKE TOUR
Cycle through vineyards and Suvereto hills, with stops at wineries for a glass and a simple but local breakfast.

SUVERETO WALK AROUND
A slow walk around the village, through paths, rows of vines and stops at wineries to experience the landscape sip by sip.

"SUVERETO DOCG, A NEW STORY"

The Creative Space
During the festival, La Casa nel Castello will host a beautiful workshop in the Creative Space. This is an eco-printing workshop, created in collaboration with Anima di Foglia, an ethical and responsible brand that creates clothing with ecological prints. During the workshop, it will be possible to create a silk scarf decorated using elements from nature. To participate, it is necessary to book one of the two scheduled sessions at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
