The house, renovated in 2024, covers an area of 90 square metres and is on a single floor. Characterised by a careful restoration that honours the property’s history, with its original decorative features brought back to life and exposed wooden beams in every room, it will transport you back in time to a dreamy and delicate atmosphere. The renovation, interior design and use of colour have been carried out to reflect the principles of Feng Shui and well-being in the home, under the direction and guidance of Silvia Maderna.

HOME TOUR: the flat has a beautiful terrace overlooking a side street in Suvereto. From the terrace, you enter directly into the living area, which features a spacious kitchen with a breakfast bar and a small bathroom-laundry room. It features a spacious double bedroom leading off to a unique walk-in wardrobe. The flat is completed by a TV area with a sofa, a large, bright bathroom with a walk-in shower, and another small sitting area that can be used as a study or as an additional bedroom, with two further beds available.

This flat is the perfect blend of traditional charm and modern comfort, offering a unique living experience in the heart of Suvereto.

The terrace

The beautiful terrace, overlooking a side street in Suvereto, is a real showcase, perfect for soaking up the lively and charming atmosphere of the village.

The terrace is ideal for relaxing outdoors and enjoying lunch or dinner whilst taking in the view of the village.

The kitchen

The terrace leads directly into the living area, where you’ll find a spacious, modern kitchen. The centrepiece of the kitchen is an elegant breakfast bar, perfect for quick meals or socialising. The spaces have been designed for functionality and practicality, without compromising on style.

Relaxation Area

The open-plan kitchen leads to a small relaxation area, characterised by the careful restoration of the house’s original plasterwork. Here you’ll find a sofa and a flat-screen TV. A wall with glass panels separates this area from the bedroom with its wrought-iron beds.

The bedrooms

The flat features a spacious double bedroom – a bright and peaceful space, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the utmost comfort. Decorative alcoves provide additional storage space for your belongings. The four-poster bed is positioned and designed to ensure maximum comfort, reflecting the principles of residential wellbeing on which the house was designed. The bedroom leads to a very distinctive walk-in wardrobe, created from a small room with a mysterious history, featuring steps and a brazier.

A large room characterised by the ‘Venezia’ colour scheme and exposed original plasterwork is the second large bedroom. It features two wrought-iron beds (with a third pull-out bed) which can also be used as small sofas for the living area. Here you’ll find a beautiful decorated alcove and a desk area, perfect for remote working. This room can therefore be transformed from a bedroom into a study or a small sitting room, adapting to different living needs.

The bathrooms

The flat has two bathrooms. The main bathroom is spacious and bright, with a large walk-in shower and modern features that ensure comfort and relaxation. The second bathroom, which is smaller and has a country-style look, is located next to the kitchen and features a laundry area, providing a practical and discreet solution to all your needs.

“Every project centred on a home draws me in and makes me love that home, but with ‘Terrazza sul Borgo’ it was love at first sight.
I loved everything about that house: the exposed beams, the recesses behind the walls and the peeling plaster that revealed little treasures, the mysterious space in the far right-hand corner, even the bathroom – which was dreadful in terms of materials but generous in size. I also loved all the energy imbalances that needed correcting to ensure the well-being of those living there: a home lacking in the energy of Wealth but overflowing with the energy of Love.
I enjoyed taking care of it, and the house, like its owners – for one is a mirror of the other and vice versa, according to a law of reciprocity that is very clear in the Eastern perspective, in which one is part of a whole – accepted the Feng Shui suggestions I offered, taking them on board and making them its own (a Fire colour rather than a neutral one, knocking down a wall, moving a room…), becoming deeply involved in the transformation. When this happens, the process of ‘restoring’ the home is passed on to the owners: this is the true purpose of Feng Shui being realised. And that is the moment of my true satisfaction and gratitude for this work.”

The renovation, the furnishings and the use of colour were planned down to the smallest detail and carried out by hand by me using lime paint and eco-friendly, breathable paints.
