I'll tell you what 2025 will be like in Suvereto and Val di Cornia: between Tradition and New Proposals
This year, the calendar of events is not limited to being a simple summer program: it embraces the entire year, with events already started in April and scheduled until December, offering guests of the village a rich, authentic and continuous experience.
"There's always a good reason to come to Suvereto and feel good!" - says Mayor Jessica Pasquini, who, together with the Administration and the network of local associations, works to offer a range of cultural, artistic, gastronomic and popular initiatives that keep the spirit of the village alive at all times.
The Municipality renews and strengthens iconic events such as Calici di Stelle, the Borgo dei Ragazzi and the Grey Cat Jazz festival, thanks to an increasingly strong synergy with realities such as the Ente Valorizzazione Suvereto, Suvernova, the Ente Puccini and the Cavalieri di Ildebrandino.
Summer begins with taste... and poetry
It starts on June 20, 21 and 22 with Note di Vermentino, a three-day event dedicated to the white wine symbol of the coast, enriched on June 21 by a special moment: La Notte Romantica dei Borghi più belli d'Italia (The Romantic Night of Italy's Most Beautiful Villages), organized by the Suvernova association.
In July, the Medieval Evenings (19 and 20) return, along with the engaging Palio dell'Imperatore on the eve of Ferragosto, animated by the Spingitori. August continues with Sapori tra le mura (Flavors within the walls) (August 23-25), and of course Calici di Stelle (Goblets of Stars), the night of August 10 that combines wine, shooting stars and street food: an unmissable event for those who want to discover the most joyful soul of Suvereto.
Music, theatre and re-enactments under the stars
The Suverart Festival, by Ente Puccini, brings music and theatre around the village and to its most evocative locations. On the historical front, the Cavalieri di Ildebrandino set up their medieval encampment every evening at the foot of the Rocca, offering costumed re-enactments that fascinate adults and children alike.
Concerts will also be held, including:
- "Anime Salve Trio" (July 25), a tribute to De André,
- "A Reggae History" (July 29), a tribute to Bob Marley,
- Grey Cat Jazz Festival with "Five Winds" (August 6),
- and the show "Per sempre notte" by Fabrizio Pocci (August 29), a journey through music and words.
An autumn of culture and taste
In September, "Letteralmente Scalando", Suvernova's new poetry festival, will accompany the Borgo dei Ragazzi, which transforms the streets of the center into a child-friendly world. October will bring the eagerly awaited Artimborgo, an art and craft exhibition promoted by the Merchants' Association and included in the village's cultural regeneration project.
The calendar continues even in the colder months: the Wild Boar Festival and the elegant New Year's toast with Calici di San Silvestro close 2025 with the authentic taste of traditions.
An invitation to experience the village
Behind every event is the passionate work of those who love this place: associations, volunteers, organizations and sponsors who, with enthusiasm and competence, make such a broad and varied program possible.
Those who choose to stay at La Casa nel Castello, in the heart of Suvereto, will be able to experience these events just a stone's throw from home, feeling part of a community that knows how to welcome, involve and tell stories.
We await you for a toast under the stars, a walk through the decorated streets, a sunset among the vineyards... or simply to let yourself be surprised by the slow beauty of the village, in every season.
