La Casa nel Castello

It’s located in Tuscany, in the heart of the medieval village of Suvereto. The village offers an authentic and unforgettable holiday experience, especially for those who are coming from large cities. It will take you five minutes by foot from the big free parking to find us. The house is located in the center of the village, near the Town Hall, in a very quiet street and close to bars, restaurants and grocery stores.

The house is ideal for a couple’s holiday, with its romantic and welcoming atmosphere, but at the same time a family can also find a comfortable environment. You will find lots of books and games available for children.

Entering the house you will find the living room, with a sofa/bed and a TV with Netflix.

Here there is a corner for exchanging books, games for children and information material on the Etruscan Coast and the Maremma, which can be freely consulted by guests.

Rooms

The rooms are full of details chosen with love, we hope they will make you feel at home!

In the master bedroom, characterized by the soft color of antique pink, the decorative tiles and a large custom-made trompe l’oeil provide an elegant and restful atmosphere. From the bedroom there is access to another small bathroom with shower, where white and blue tones shine. From the window you can see the garden and every morning looking out is an envying ritual!

The room with bunk beds is ideal for children and has various games available for guests. It is a small but very comfortable room, painted in the restful tone of sage green.

Bathrooms

The house has a large bathroom and a second bathroom, accessible from the master bedroom.

The main bathroom features a large walk-in shower. The sink is the result of the reuse of an outdoor marble table. A courtesy set is available to guests, as well as towels.

A second private bathroom is directly accessible from the master bedroom. This is also a full bathroom, with a walk-in shower, toilet, and bidet. This is a small but yet a very characteristic bathroom!

Kitchen

The kitchen is the beating heart of the house because it is adjacent to the garden and the veranda, the best place to be almost all year round.

In the living room there is a terracotta staircase that leads you to you arrive into the kitchen. This staircase is one of the best results of the renovation which replaces what used to be an old wood spiral staircase. The old kitchen made of dark wood has been repainted in a creamy white color. In the kitchen, our guests will find everything they need: kettle, microwave, oven, dishwasher and the essentials for cooking, salt, pepper, oil, coffee, sugar. In the kitchen an antique marble table allows you to eat when the weather is not good! The veranda is the ideal place for outdoor breakfasts or dinners under the stars. During the day, thanks to the electric blind, it is possible to use the table even in the hottest hours. The washing machine is located in the veranda as well.

Garden

The Garden of the House in the Castle is and full of flowers and also plants that you can use in the kitchen such as rosemary and sage.

The garden of the Casa nel Castello is not a simple garden, it is a small refuge in the heart of the village, where only the sound of birds can distract from reading a book, a lunch on the veranda or a cool shower after a day at the beach.

For many of the guests who have passed by the House in the Castle, it represents “a natural medicine against stress …”.

The flowers, plants and trees are cared for with love and those who have the pleasure of returning will find that the garden of La Casa nel Castello experiences all sort of plants and flowers year after year!
