A new shop that reinvents cork

Three women, cork, lots of creativity and courage. The delightful new Suberbello shop, recently born in the village, near the Palazzo del Comune, tells a story of courage and valorisation of the territory. Cork is a resource that has always characterized the village of Suvereto, from which it takes its name: cork oaks still surround Suvereto today, which in Roman times was called Suberetum and then was called Sughereto, up to the current Suvereto.

At Suberbello it is possible to buy all kinds of objects made with this precious resource: from key rings to necklaces to bags, cork is transformed and takes on ever-changing shapes to create unique memories to take home.

Connections and value for the territory

In Francesca, Sonia and Eloisa’s shop everything is created from recycled materials. In addition to their creations, you can find ceramics, candles, spices and local aromas. The underlying philosophy of Suberbello is precisely that of revitalizing craftsmanship, creating value and connections between producers, farmers and other local realities. Some examples: the medicinal herbs of the Le Germandine farm in a glass jar with cork stopper, the Jesmonite candles by Nigella Candles, the ceramics Teste vuote by Daria Tansini, the paintings by the artist Fred Charap.

Finally, thanks to the collaboration with the SuveretoWine consortium, it is possible to find key rings and magnets from all the wineries in the area in the shop!
