The best beaches of the etruscan coast

The Etruscan Coast is full of beautiful beaches, one of its strengths is certainly its diversity also in terms of the offer of beaches. Whether you love pebbles, rocks, sand .. we are sure that in any case you will find the most suitable solution for you!

Together with Bruna of the La Gualda Vecchia farm we have created this small guide with the joy of sharing with you our favorite beaches, the places that we are sure will be able to satisfy all tastes.

MARINA DI CASTAGNETO: a beautiful beach, perfect for those seeking rest and tranquillity. Free beach but also equipped beaches. You will be spoiled for choice .. the beach of Marina di Castagneto is perfect for families with children!

RIMIGLIANO and TORRACCIA: The Rimigliano Park has 6 km of beaches, surrounded by dunes and equipped with showers, toilets and even refreshment points (in some parts). The sea is slightly deeper going towards ‘la Torraccia’ and becomes more degrading as you approach San Vincenzo. Along the beach of Rimigliano there are also areas accessible to dogs

BARATTI: The gulf of Baratti is famous throughout Tuscany for its history, for the archaeological finds it houses and for the beautiful natural conformation. A pine forest and a large lawn frame a beach that alternates pebbles with golden sand, rich in iron particles left by the ancient Etruscan furnaces.. for this reason you will see the sand shine during the day! The gulf is located within a natural area but hosts some establishments, kiosks and pedalo, kite, etc. rental.

BUCA DELLE FATE: Reachable on foot after about 30 minutes of walking in the Mediterranean scrub, it is a cove with pebbles and rocks. Perfect for snorkelling and nature lovers.. you just have to be careful not to arrive late in the morning because it can be very crowded!

CALA MORESCA: For lovers of pebble beaches. It is a small cove located in Piombino, perfect for a dip in the sea after having walked the beautiful promenade on the adjacent stretch of coast. You can treat yourself to a lunch in the fish restaurant which is located right on the beach. On weekends it can be very crowded.

TORRE MOZZA: It is one of the beautiful corners found within the Sterpaia Coastal Park. The sea is clear and the sand is light. A perfect corner for families and for anyone who loves relaxing on the beach. In the Sterpaia Park there are establishments and restaurants.

CALA VIOLINA: Reachable on foot after about 30 minutes of walking, it is a pristine and beautiful cove, especially out of season. Parking in the summer can be limited, so arrive early if possible! It is characterized by fine sands, with small shells, and clear sea. A magical place

These are just a few ideas and tips from which to start exploring the coast!

We suggest you to save the whole guide on your PC or print it, to have it ready when you come on holiday in this area.
